Duck Walk North

Every time I travel to East Marion, NY to spend some time on the pebble beach , one of the almost mandatory activities is to stop on the way back on any of many the best Long Island Wineries.

We visited Duck Walk Winery in Hampton before and now we decided to see what Duck Walk North Winery has to offer.

Surprisingly, parking lot wasn't over packed and so is a big tasting room. Group of bachelorettes was there and Oh! Boy! They were loud! As one of them said : drunk and irresponsible.

Tipsy girls are very loud!

Two white wines tasting menu was in the order. We were interesting in Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc of course, and maybe in white blends.

2018 RESERVE CHARDONNAY - $ 32.95 Light oak aging leaves this wine dry and brimming with tropical fruit flavors finishes smooth and buttery.

First try is 2018 Reserve Chardonnay - Yes! I love oaky Chardonnay, this particular reminding me more of the whisky though.

WINDMILL WHITE - $ 14.95 An elegant semi-sweet white wine with hints of honey, pear and wildflowers. Reminiscent of a Moscato. Enjoy this wine at cocktail parties and picnics with seafood, salad and pasta.

Second choice was Windmill White Blend wine. Great aroma, tastes like fresh air in Meadow. Even though this wine is semi-sweet - I love it! It's perfect for backyard party.

2017 CHARDONNAY. - $ 16.95 A much bolder, fruitier Chardonnay. Well balanced and beautifully crafted in stainless steel with gentle oak ageing after fermentation. The finish is exceptionally creamy and lingering.

Third choice is 2017 Chardonnay. Its a miss for me. Smells like fermented hay and little bit too acidic for my taste.

WINDMILL BLUSH.- $ 14.95 Explodes with fruit flavors of strawberry and raspberry. The unique flavor is Long Island's challenge to White Zinfandel. Pairs perfectly with barbeque, salads and cheese plates.

Fourth choice was Windmill Blush Rose. Also not good enough for me - sorry. I don't know why I keep apologizing when I don't like something ...

Cheers!

Love Art Deco and fashionable 20's design

Windmill White is the best!

Drunk girls don't pedal lol

Theo is happy about being shelving dog )))

On the way out we bought two bottles of Windmill Whites - for 4th of July Celebration! #wining
