First time we visited Henry Hudson Trail in May. We did come to check the path and just to enjoy the view. Interesting that I found this trail while I was looking for ocean shores of NJ at Google maps, in fact i was trying to find any trail that would run along the ocean for possibilities to come up with dogs and our bikes. Part of Henry Hudson Trail is located on Sandy Hook Bay and looked very promising. I know it’s very untraditional way to find a bike trail but it worked for me.
Btw, there is application All Trails https://www.alltrails.com/?ref=header that pretty good guide for outdoor activities!
Morning didn’t bless us with sunshine but we didn’t mind a little drizzle. Our dogs were enthusiastic about new adventure just as much as we were.
I refuse to cancel my plans according to the weather. Forecast says it’s going to be raining…fine, good to know! I’ll take an umbrella! So many times I proved to myself that sometimes obstacles are blessings in disguise.
Yes, rainy clouds are not ideal background for a photographer but I can capture beautiful memories in any weather. Rain is not the reason to stay home and miss the chance to photograph a rainy day.
This trail is great for relaxing walk, run or a bike ride. My dogs also think it’s great for swimming too. Atheas absolutely enjoyed his time in the water. Theo wasn’t so sure that being completely wet is fun thing to do.
Mostly gravel path of Henry Hudson Trail runs along the Oceanside and have a great scenic view on New York.
I highly recommend it to anyone who’s up for a little adventure.
