Traveling Tip. #1

Updated: Jul 24, 2018

I love to travel. I do. I have a serious case of travel bug. What the most interesting is that I love traveling time itself, not necessarily the destination. Time in an airport awaiting my boarding as much exciting to me as time when I would reach my destination.

Every little detail in traveling time creates memories. Even bad experience creates good memories.

As much as I don't like packing, I do love to mingle those traveling accessories around. I think it's the greatest pleasure to have everything under your hand. Need something? Just reach out and here you go. Sometimes peoples are ask me why is my bag so heavy? What's in there? - I usually answer - Everything!

l love to organize my carry on, everything should be in their own places. Those cute little bags must have all necessities, so I wouldn't stress out that I don't have something that makes me comfortable while I'm away from home. I always on a lookout for perfect toiletry kit bags, and this is the reason why I have about 10 different of them and I'm still unsatisfied with any. I also struggle with cosmetic's bag - one is not big enough, another is not small enough.

After traveling for 3 years constantly I've come to my own conclusion what's important to have while on the road. I should probably list all of them. One by one. I should start with hand luggage or carry-on

Red and Black is new classic.

Number 1. Get yourself a good carry on! It's very important! It makes your life on the road much easier and comfortable. Carry-on luggage must have multi directional wheels for easy to navigate around , so you don't have to drag it behind yourself wherever you go. Your carry-on should move next to you effortlessly. I would strongly suggest polycarbonate luggage as it's almost weightless so you could put more of your stuff in. When I see those travelers who drag behind them those ridiculous textile suitcases I always puzzle: Why? It's 2018! Do your research, you don't have to buy expensive one unless money is not the object. If you are on the budget, make a trip to TJ Maxx or Marshalls or any other discount store, they always have great choices. My choice would be Samsonite - a brand I could always trust. Remember after some time you have to buy new one, because scratches and little damages always happen while you travel. No matter how cool Louis Vuitton carry-on looks, to have a heart attack after you'll see little scratch on it (You will see it! Trust me!) is not worth it.

Here is couple other options that I would look up for if I were you. Get a luggage with full zipper closures on the both sides. It will hold all your belongings in place if you need to open it.

The other option that I personally appreciate is cup holder on the top of the suitcase. While you are in the airport awaiting boarding sometimes there is no place to put your cup of coffee or bottle of water. The cup holder will save your day!

My show stopper red carry-on

My own preferences is red color for luggage, just because it's more visible and easy for eyes.

When I come home from trip, I don't emptying my carry-on, I keep all travel essentials inside: toiletry kits, Little bag with all charging cables along with portable charging station with outlets and USB ports,

Amazon find $14.99 https://www.amazon.com/charger-Charging-Extension-Universal-100V-240V/dp/B01N6E5X76/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1532445342&sr=8-3&keywords=portable+charging+station

Also recently bought Ted Baker traveling bags with embroidery on it (I still like it!), one is for laundry, another for hotel time - I keep silk robe and slippers in there. In this case I don't have to remember what will I need next time.

Personally I don't like packing cubes, just because I will never remember what is exactly I did put in each of them! I'll start checking all of them at once and it will create panic mode in me, which I don't like.
